Prepare for Launch (Auction Checklist)

Preview My Auction 


In the top right-hand corner of your screen you will find your SELECTED AUCTION MENU, 

  • Auction Stats (see marketing tab)
  • Preview Auction (see bidders view of auction)
  • Edit Auction (edit auction core information)
  • Lot List (edit lots uploaded to this auction)
  • Auction Expenses (assign expenses like ad to specific sellers listed in this specific auction)

 

Before you launch your auction, it is always wise to first preview your auction. Gives your team a last look at any spelling mistakes or missing photos that may have been glanced past during initial editing process. 


On your preview auction screen, you will be able to view your auction as a bidder would. Checking over the information provided to the bidder at the top of the screen, including your contact information, lots, and most importantly the terms and conditions that the bidders will be agreeing to. Many affiliates create a lot 0 for important information that the bidder may need to know. Examples: supplies they may need, specific directions to address etc. 

Auction Checklist 

  • Auction Title 
  • Auction Address 
  • Contact Information 
  • Clear Terms and Conditions 
  • All Lots Accurate Descriptions 
  • All Lots Have Photos of Actual Lot Listed 
  • Featured Photos Selected
  • Categories are Assigned to Appropriate Lots 
  • Starting Prices are Consistent 
  • Taxes are Marked Correctly 
  • Shipping Arrangements are Described Clearly 
  • Loadout Schedule / Dates 
  • Inspection Schedule / Dates 

Once you’ve checked over all the above, you’re ready to PUBLISH!

Now you will be under administration review for your initial auctions. This ensures you're comfortable with the process and mistakes that could cause additional issues is caught before auction is published to the public. 

Typically review only last for your first 4-5 auctions, but it is not removed until we feel the affiliate is self-sufficient and confident in their process.
